Sir I am having acne and small pimples on my face I met with an doctor he gave me doxycycline capsules and clindamycin phosphate gel and acne guard soap it helped me a lot but my small pimples and and dark spots on my face and it will not go away. I used aloe vera gel and fair and lovely cream I want to know can I use these creams with these medicines and how can I get rid of small pimples and dark spits on my face. My age is 15.

The treatment of acne differs according to the grade of involvement. Some people have more oilyness on the face which results in breakouts. After completing treatment for controlling the active breakouts, tablets can be stopped and creams need to be continued to prevent recurrence. Diet and lifestyle modifications are also important. Please don't do any self treatment such as over the counter Steroid creams. Don't burst the pimples with your fingers as it can result in ugly scars.
