My father is suffering from diabetes this is type 2 diabetes since last 15 yrs. He has albumin problem too. This time albumin from urine is +3 n now a days his diabetes is also in not control i.e random diabetes is about 300 now a days .I want to ask this .is this diabetes tablets istamet and glizid can harm to the kidneys because he has albumin from urine too. And which is better. Insulin or high dose of these tablet? Is insulin is safe or not. His age is 54 years.
