I'm 53 years old Male & suffering from Epilepsy. Since 2005, I was taking Encorate Chrono300 & later Encorate Chrono 200. I was taking this on alternative day since Nov. 2018. In April, 2018 I had an episode of seizure. Later Doctor prescribed me FRISIUM 5 mg since May, 2018. What's the difference between these two & which is better with less side effects.

They are different type of drugs and in your case need both to be taken. Keep seeing your neurologist every 3 months he will recognise side effects like weight gain etc. Also read the instructions with the packet it will tell you side effects.
