Hi Sir, I am 22 years old I have check my thyroid its all normal t3 and t4 is normal but tsh level is high 5.5. Please help me on it.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. TSH 5.5 mU/L, is just above the normal limit. It is hardly of any consequence. There is no treatment required at this stage. Usually TSH between 6 to 9.9 mU/L is considered as sub-clinical hypothyroidism and no treatment is advocate in that condition. However, if any person has presence of troublesome symptoms of hypothyroidism then treatment with Levothyroxine may be initiated. In your case there is no such issue.
