Hello, my son is 9 years old. He is facing the problem of ADHD. His mind does not work completely as compared to the normal child but he has sharp memory. Please suggest what to do for him.

First of all, when your doctor made a diagnosis of ADHD, he/she would have given you somadvise regarding the long term prognosis of the condition. The treatment includes: - (1) Medication which could include both "stimulants" as well as "sedatives" which need to be carefully titrated depending on the response of the child (2) Behavioural/Education therapy, which includes both the child and the care givers. Finally, with the proper care the child will be able to look after himself and in a majority of cases, maybe able to lead normal lives.
