Hi Sir, I'm 42 years old. I have hypothyroidism. I'm under medication for this condition. But the symptoms have not gone completely. I tend to put on weight really quick. I feel dizzy often. Is there any way of taking care of these symptoms?

Dear Lybrateuser, - To keep weight under control you have modify your diet & do regular exercise - have more of fibre containing foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains instead of refined ones & protein foods, healthy fats as in olive or canola or sunflower oil, nuts, avocados, seafood & seeds such as flax, sesame & chia seeds - do regular exercise like walking, yoga to reduce weight - for dizziness have more of fluids including 8-10 glasses of water per day - get bp, hemoglobin & blood sugar checked.
