I am having aquechek and beat o diabetic checking machines at home. But machines reading are showing higher than laboratory results. Please suggest which one is correct.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Glucometer checks capillary blood, whereas in the lab venous blood is checked. Therefore there's about 11% excess glucose level is shown. However, now a days most glucometers are calibrated to give readings similar to venous blood. Difference may be more in after food levels. Thanks.
