Hi Sir, I have serum cholesterol is 160 and my trigasyde is 290. Please tell me is it ok or not?

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your serum cholesterol is normal but triglyceride is high - follow some tips to reduce serum triglycerides - reduce weight if overweight - do regular exercise like walking daily for 30-40 min - reduce fatty food & sugar containing foods -increase fibre containing foods, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes - avoid alcohol & smoking if you do - add omega 3 containing foods to your diet.
