Hi Sir, I have been diagnosed with a meniscus tear in my right knee. Is this fully treatable through medicines or do I have to go for surgery? Thank you.

If you have complete tear then only surgery and after surgery Physiotherapy is must. By if it is not complete tear then you need Physiotherapy on urgent basis Rather to b dependent on medicines only. Give support and avoid excess bending.

There are possibilities of recovery, if you could get it along with physiotherapy and avoid squatting and crossed leg sitting and strenuous activities.
