I used to chew tobacco moderately. Once in a day or 2-3 times in a week. But I am feeling something in my throat. Actually around 4-5 years ago I started tobacco chewing but when I went to dentist he told me that I am suffering from early stage ofsumucous fibrosis and asked me to avoid tobacco and I tried my best from last one year and reduce the quantity. He gave me sm-fibro for three months. I am not sure that I have any symptoms to cancer or not and I am afraid to check it. Please advise the best way to tackle this situation. I don't have any ulcer in my mouth and even I can open my mouth properly but feel irritation with very spicy or hot food. Please also let me know what are symptoms of oral cancer.

Even if you are diagnosed with stage 1 Oral submucous fibrosis, still no need to worry because it is treatable. You need to completely stop tobacco. 2nd you need to add some antioxidants (cap antoxid hc- once daily) along with sm fibro till you r completely cured. 3rd add fresh ripe tomatoes and carrots to your diet everyday, they are natural source of antioxidants and avoid capsicum and chillies. Visit your dentist every month for review of improvement.
