I am 31 years old female I had my last periods on 30july 2018 and its a very regular cycle. Now I have started a pack of yaz contraceptive pills for the first time today (first ever birth control pills), I want to know when is it safe to have unprotected sex, and as I have started this pack in the middle of my cycle how to take it, like it has 24 active pills and four inactive pills now when to take the inactive pills and what to take during periods thanks for your guidance.

Hello, As you are already mid cycle, there is no point starting the pack now. you can start it from day 2 of next cycle. This cycle practice barrier contraception.
