I had taken the OPG for my teeth shown in my image, is the wisdom teeth (is it overlapping the molar teeth or is it inside the molar teeth) should be taken out immediately? I don't feel any pain inside them but dentist suggest to take it out and do the RCT of its next tooth (i.e molar on left side). Is it correct to take out the wisdom teeth and do RCT of molar left side teeth?

Hi. Normally Wisdom teeth are of no use. If any Wisdom tooth is harming its anterior tooth or molar then it should be treated mostly by extraction of the Wisdom tooth. In most cases Wisdom tooth go for extraction/ removal. If damage has been done to the anterior tooth by the Wisdom tooth then it has to be treated either by normal filling or by RCT. It will be made clear by the X-ray.

See if wisdom tooth is disturbing the other tooth and has caused a deep cavity .. in the next tooth ..it's better to remove it as it may not spoil the tooth which is already destroyed .. and root canal would be necessary. ..as wisdom has spoiled the next tooth ..
