Hello, Thanks for the query. Please let me know how did you come to know your wife has "thyroid problem" Her TSH level 6.7 mU/L is marginally high, it is classified as sub-clinical hypothyroidism. Usually no treatment is advocated up to a level of 9.9 mU/L. In some patients treatment is given when troublesome symptoms are present. Please also get anti TPO antibodies test done. That will give an idea whether she has hypothyroidism. Thanks.
