I'm 23 female. I don't like babies so I'm looking to have a tubectomy procedure done but I'm disappointed that both the doctors I approached refused to recommend me as I'm unmarried and don't have a baby yet. I lashed out at both of them because I have already made the choice of not wanting a baby but they keep insisting on waiting till I get married and have a baby. I lost hope that I'll ever have that procedure in a patriarchal society where I'm just seen as a baby making vessel by medical professional.

At such young age no doctor will perform tubectomy ,as maybe later in life your views change. You can go for temporary method of contraception like iud insertion, it can be inserted for 10 yrs.
