Can hypothyroidism be completely cured if it is at the border line and what steps should be taken to reduce it completely?

Hello, Thanks for the query. Hypothyroidism is diagnosed when there are troublesome symptoms present plus TSH is above 10 mU/L. When TSH is between 6 to 9.9 mU/L, condition is classified as sub-clincal hypothyroidism and usually no treatment is advocated. Since there is no mention of the actual T3, T4 and TSH values, it is difficult give any specific opinion. Thanks.

Yes if it is border line. Do life style changes like. Maintain active life style. Exercise regularly. Avoid fast foods n fried foods. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. Get Some Much-needed Stress Relief-- by doing, yoga, meditation etc. Establishing a sleep schedule and sticking to it helps. Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day?including weekends. In general, the sweet spot for sleep is between 7 and 9 hours. Drink a lot of water.
