Hi, I have been suffering from severe OCD for last 12 years. Although medication helped improve my symptoms a lot, still it used to go beyond control occasionally. The current medication contains DAXID (300 mg per day) which suitably worked for me till date. Other medicines prescribed from time to time by several psychiatrists as associative are CLOFRANIL, CLONIL,RISDONE, ARIP,ADMENTA. Out of these, last three were not at all effective for treating the symptoms, rather increased either drowsiness or irritation beyond tolerance. CLOFRANIL/CLONIL were effective but as per the doctor's advice, stopped taking those after improvement was noticed. Please advise remedial measures.
