My BP reading checked at hospitals for the past 2-3 times ranges between 130/80 to 140/90 whereas as reading at home using a FDA certified omron bp monitor with smart cuff rarely crosses 115/75. What could be the possible reason for such a huge variation between home and hospital?

This is known as White Coat Hypertension. Whenever you visit a hospital or doctor your anxiety level increases which leads to rise in BP. Monitor your blood pressure morning and evening and chart it on a notebook for next 10 days that will give you correct average value.

Common, it is called white coat hypertension. Treatment for BP should be according to home recording, not hospital recording. Best wishes.
