Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. At 30 years, the mentioned glucose levels are fairly high. WHat is the HbA1c%? Ideally in a well controlled diabetes Fasting should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8. So it appears that present medications are not helping you adequately. There is a need to upgrade the treatment. Therefore, either approach your local doctor and ask for upgrade, or come back in a private conversation (paid consultation) with following details: Current fasting, PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, details of medications with dosage, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise, BP readings, lipid profile and kidney function test, than I will be able to guide specifically and help in upgrading the tratment. In this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines, no prescriptions can be given. So please decide what you want to do. It is necessary to achieve a strict glucose control to prevent long term complications of diabetes. Thanks.

Sometimes the sugar levels do not get controlled as expected. It only means that you have to go back to your doctor for a review. Based on physical examination and tests results, the doctor can suggest some changes in your routine lifestyle and adjust the dosage of medicines or change it completely if necessary. You should also understand the importance of healthy food and daily exercise (read from the internet and adapt good habits with consistency) so that the body can respond in a more positive manner. You can also learn Yoga and pranayam which can help in natural rejuvenation and bring optimal results from the current treatment.
