I'm suffering from bradycardia. My heart rate is very less all time its mostly between 40 to 60. I was a sports man in my college time. I am a goldsmith I work with acids and usually I have cough and throat problems. Can you guide me what should I do to improve my heart rate.

The heart rate is low in some people and if there are no other symptoms it can be left alone and sports men generally may have bradycardia If another medical problem, such as hypothyroidism or an electrolyte imbalance, is causing a slow heart rate, treating that problem may cure the bradycardia. The good news is that bradycardia can be treated and even cured. And certain medications can slow down a person's heart rate, and stopping that treatment can in turn stop bradycardia. Even if the condition can't be reversed, doctors can still treat it with a pacemaker.
