Hello, I had been taking 1.5 mg Clonazepam divided as 0.5 day and 1 mg night. Now my doctor has put me on petril beta 20 twice daily. My question is whether such sudden reduction in Clonazepam is okay to follow? I am worried about the sleep which i am do used with 1.5 mg of Clonazepam for many months. Kindly clarify.

Hello lybrate-user. I do not find any problem in that but would have been better had you discussed this issue with your trwating physician. What you can do is first stop thinking about it. Go to bed relaxed and only when you feel sleepy. Do not 'try' to sleep but let sleep come to you.in case you have problem you can take clonazepam on as-and-when required basis. Best luck thanks.
