I am suffering from insomnia and taking Clonazepam 0.5 for more than 05 years. But now it is not so effective for having sound sleep. Whether I should increase its dose or suggest another one.

Yes definitely if will not be effective as you are just suppressing your neural activity with meds in the sense paralyzing the effect with meds for few hours - as you term it as sleep. You need a proper treatment to restore your sleep pattern provided your body age permits the same.
