I am 72 years old male. Few days ago I felt pain in my left eye after reading newspaper and feel pain while viewing tv programmer. I don't have any problem vision wise. Is this a possible symptom of cataract needing operation? I have been taking" ALBALON" drops, this has given me relief.

You may feel you do not have a refractive error. It is possible that you have ataract and it is also possible that you have some form of refractive errror shich could be corrected with just glasses. Another possibility is that you have some amount of dry eye. It is hence advisable to get yourself personally checked by an ophthalmologist.
