A person with early stage papillary carcinoma of thyroid can lead a normal life span after treatment?

Hello Ms. lybrate-user A properly managed papillary carcinamo thyroid patient can live a life on par with any normal individual. He/she will require a thyroid harmone supplementation every day morning. May require a calcium supplementation if his/her parathyroids were not conserved. He/she need to be on regular follow-up by regular clinical examination, Sr TSH, Sr Throglobulin and USG neck periodically to look for any recurrences. Papillary ca thyroid is a slow growing cancer and can be effectively managed without any tussle even in recurrence. All the best.
