Fever from last 48 hrs, it goes when I take zifi 200 and Calpol 650, But comes again after 4-5 hrs. I have test for mp, cbc, dengue and urine r. Results are: Dengue fever lgm -ve, Dengue fever ns1 +ve, Malaria -ve, Wbc 4640, Platelets 2.52 lacs, leukocytes 10-12 in urine r My doctor told me I am having dengue and advice me to take plenty of fluids, take rest and continue tablet zifi and calpol. My question is there any specific medicine for dengue? Can it be cured with the above mentioned medicine? Also I had a c section 1.5 months back and I am Breastfeeding mom. What if my platelets or wbc goes down? Can we prevent it to go down? Thanks in advance.
