Wrist pain is often caused by sprains or fractures from sudden injuries. But wrist pain can also result from long-term problems, such as repetitive stress, arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome.

It may b due to wrong posture while lifting any weight. It can be ligament or tendon injury. Use icing over the Pain area and give support to your wrist and start Physiotherapy. Along with this avoid lifting weights with the hand.
