My age is 24, three years back I met with an accident, which fractured my l3 vertebra. So doctors had done l2 l3 l4 fusion. I do not have any problems now. But I feel slight stiffness in spine these days. I heard that spinal fusion surgery s very low. How far this is true. What precautions should I take so that I will not face any problems in future?

Long term complication is mainly localised osteoporosis and muscle stiffness. Check vitamin D3 levels and do regular paraspinal isometric strengthening.
