Dear Lybrateuser, - Belching can be due to acidity or GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) or any other gastrointestinal disorder - follow some dietary precautions: - chew your food well, have meals on time, do not skip meals, restrict fried, spicy & processed foods, take a walk for 5-10 min after meals - have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water for proper digestion - take an antacid 25-20 min after meals - could be due to medication if you are taking any - avoid more than 1-2 cups of tea, coffee if you take more - do regular walking for proper digestion.
