Hi, My mother was prescribed 2 tablets of Thyrorich 25 mg. Is it fine if she uses 1 tablet of Thyrorich 50 mcg? What is the difference between mg and mcg?

Hello, Thanks for the query. Thyrorich tablets contain Levothyroxine, in various strengths like 12.5, 25 & even 50 mcg. Two tablets of 25 mcg is equal to one of 50 mcg. 1 mg = 1000 mcg (Microgram) The dosage of Levothyroxine is always in micrograms. Thanks.
