lybrate-user, Usually when TSH is between 6 to 9.9 mU/L, the condition is considered as sub-clinical hypothyroidism. No treatment is advocated in this. However, if a person has troublesome symptoms of hypothyroidism then treatment may be begun. To decide the dosage one needs to know T4 level, apart from TSH, weight, height and age. So please come back with all the necessary information, preferably in private conversation (paid consultation), because in this communication we are supposed to give general guidelines, no drugs can be prescribed. Or you may consult your local physician. Thanks.
