Mr Avinash, Thanks for the query. Erectile dysfunction(ED) is a common complication seen with long standing diabetes. This happens more often if the blood glucose control is not good. But even with fairly good control there is damage to penile muscle blood vessels leading to ED. Therefore, first and foremost is to achieve strict glucose control with fasting glucose < 100 mg, or near 100 mg, PP between 160 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8% Since there is no mention of the glucose levels and HbA1c%, it is difficult to comment. Another important aspect is your weight with a BMI of 34.53 kgs/Sq meter (Normal < 23 kgs), you are already close to grade 2 obesity. Your ideal body weight should be about 56 kgs, which means there is an excess of 27 kgs, which is a major hindrance for diabetes control. Thanks.
