I am suffering from hypertension. I visited a cardiologist. My doctor suggested me first time amlodipine 2.5 after taking this medicine my bp show 145/95 after that he changed my medicine .and suggest me telmistran 40. Once a day. Right now I am taking telmisartan 20 .now my blood pressure 141/91. Something's 145/95 .hr 82 .when I am taking telmisartan 40 my blood pressure rise up to 165/105 within an hour .can I take telmistran 20 in morning and amlodipine 2.5 in evening. I don't drink alcohol. And eat low salt diet. I am not diabetic and my tsh is normal.
