My father is diagnosed with some heart problem and on medication including tide, deriphyllin, rozucor10, olmesafe. He has problem of nose bleeding too occasionally. Today we sent him for normal routine blood test but some no are worrying me a lot. Esr 100, hemoglobin 9.2, rbc 3.07, platelet 101, rdw cv 17, rdw sd 57, hematocrit 28.

Blood reports shows an elevated esr. Any inflammatory reaction can raise esr. Reason for nasal bleed should be check. Along with the blood value if you have inr pt and aptt values then it will be wise. There are cardiac medication which leads to bleeding from nose. Even increased blood pressure is a cause. When small capillaries (blood vessels) breaks causing bleeding.
