Madam please give following details: 1) when did you notice high glucose levels? 2) have done an oral glucosetolerance test (ogtt)? 3) why are you on metformin and since when? During pregnancy glucose levels have to be maintained between 90 to 120 mg / 100 ml through out the day. If levels are higher then insulin has to be started. Please contact a local diabetologist or competent physician and start insulin to bring your glucose levels under strict control.
