I have a pilonidal sinus, the pain is manageable by taking baths everyday. I cannot get it treated immediately because of some crucial work. If pus discharge is not there then there are chances that after some time pus will accumulate and sinus might go deeper and become bigger. So as long as there is no swelling and no pus accumulation; there is no urgency. If swelling appears then you should plan for treatment on urgent basis.
