I have taken uvox 50 mg for 3 days but it hasn't had any effect. Depression and suicidal thoughts have increased after having it. Is this medicine not effective as it is leading to more depression than curing it.

Dear lybrate-user, uvox takes 2-3 weeks to start its action. You have to wait. Uvox is not increasing your depression. Depression is going on its own. Sometimes your uvox dose needs to be increased to get good effect. Consult your psychiatrist without stopping uvox 50 mg.
