I have rosacea. My face is clear. But flare up occurs due to sun and hot weather. I take hcqs 200 mg 8 days and vcnex 1000 8 days. Should I take doxycycline to reduce the flare up? In face, I use brimonidine twice in a day.

Ma'am, first of all, I would like to congratulate you that you are taking all the proper medications for rosacea. I am sure you may have consulted a qualified dermatologist for your skin condition. With all due respect ma'am, before prescribing doxycycline, a qualified doctor has to take into consideration some factors which change according to the health of the patient. Doxycycline is good medicine, but I suggest you first consult a qualified dermatologist to avoid any untoward reactions.
