Hello madam. Am 29 years old and my tsh levels are 16 now am using 50 mcg thyronorm. Is it ok for that level and what kind of food should I take.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Dosage of Levothyroxine depends on TSH, T4 levels & age, body weight & height. Unless all those details are there no comment can be made. ANother aspect if the level is adequate then TSH will be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, at which all the symptoms are in check. Thanks.

Repeat TSH after two months to monitor dose of thyronorm. Avoid gootrerogenic food like radish.turnip,cabbage,cauliflower,soyabean,etc.
