I am suffering from spondylitis where my shoulder blade is paining due to low bone density. Doctor prescribed the medicines such as laregab 100m, pantoprazole 40mh, robinaxol and amitryn 10 mg. I am 65 years old. My blood test results showed up as 42 mm against esr count. Also x-ray showed as my bone behind my neck has degenerated.

1.Your ESR is borderline high ,hence please rule out any infection 2. Your doctor has not prescribed any medication for reduced bone density. 3. If you are having spondylosis with degenerative changes better to use a collar coupled with stabilisation exercises to the neck
