lybrate-user, First it is essential to check whether you have t1 or t2 diabetes, because of your age (19 years). For that we need to do a c-peptide investigation, that will tell whether your pancreas is secreting any insulin at all. Once that is confirmed, treatment can be decided. So please go to a good clinical laboratory and get a c-peptide level done. Then come back in a private conversation or consult a local physician and get the necessary treatment. Because if you have t1 dm, then only insulin injections are useful. No oral drugs are useful. Thanks.
