Better you to go the counseling first then clinical hypnotherapy. Medicine is not the permanent solution for the depression. Anti depression tablet has a side effects also. Dear lybrate-user, If the diagnosis is severe depression, it is better to take one of them for 2 weeks and report to one of the doctors who is nearby and easy to approach repeatedly. However, clonazepam in clonotril plus will be stopped in a few weeks time. Serta or escitalopram of clonotril plus, in variable dose will be continued for many months.

Both the medications are ssri's only as two doctors give different antibiotics for infection, both will act. So take either of those as prescribed by a psychiatrist and it will take 2-6 weeks to show improvement. All the best.
