I have ibs and anxiety disorder. My doctor prescribed me to take flumod 20 mg a day, pantop 40 and acta pro 100 mg, then I start taking it. Will these medications help me for ibs also?

Hi, if the IBS is stress related then these medications will help otherwise you have to find out the root cause of your IBS. I would suggest you to correct your lifestyle by correcting your diet, exercise and sleep. Also do some meditation along with medication.

There are better medications than flumod for anxiety. For ibs take what your gastro tells, but for anxiety related to ibs better consult a psychiatrist and take apt medications as gastro treating anxiety is not that ideal. All the best.
