Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Why have mentioned the age as 33 years and other details in the question? Is the person writing question is different? Is the patient already on levothyroxine? If yes what is the current dosage? What is the height and weight? The information given is incomplete so no proper answer can be given. However, a few points to remember : Hyppothyroidism treatment is for life time. Drug can not be stopped. There is no special diet, except avoid soy beans and soy containing foods. Avoid junk foods, foods made from maida and bakery items. Exercise regularly to control weight. Maitain TSH around 3 to 4 mU/ L. Check TSH once in 3 months till treatment is stabilised. Later can be checked once in 6 months. Thanks.
