Dear doctor! my wife (65) is suffering from severe pain in left shoulder for the last two months (less severe pain in right shoulder, knees). Orthopaedic treatment with physiotherapy and steroid injection was of no relief. This followed visiting another very renowned doctor at kolkata who advised mri which showed no tear in rotary cuff muscle according to doctor, old-age degeneration & overwork has weakened the tendon, cuff muscles etc. Holding the bones. He has advised three-stage physiotherapy .she is quite weak, takes little food (no apatite +constipation+ mental tension). No sugar, bp normal, uric acid - no, little less vit. D (taking as prescribed by doctor).
