I have a burning tongue since last month. I think it started when I had a sexual encounter with a woman. I did engage in oral sex, but when I sucked on her breasts first time itself I felt a different taste. The tongue didn't really feel bad at first, however, after 2 days it started burning. The sensation is exactly like drinking boiling water and scalding your tongue. Except I didn't drink any hot liquid and my tongue feels scalded for last one month. I showed this to a doctor who told seems to be a fungal infection and gave me candid mouth pain and vit b complex and pantoprazole. I did have cottony feel on my tongue but slowly that went away. My blood results were all fine escp the infectious virology like hiv I and ii, hbsag, hcv and syphilis. I do not have any other symptoms and any other issues. Is there some else I should do?
