I have sugar levels for fasting 103 mg/dl. 8 have been eating medicine for hypothyroidism and is controlled now. But doctor recommended gluconorm sr 1g for 10 days. What should I do. Should I start eating the pills? If once started will I have to take for lifetime? Are there any side effects? My age is 21 years old.

You have not ment�oned your pp blood sugar and HbA1c.If these are normal then you can control your blood sugar by avoiding sweets and sugar,regular exercise and weihht reduction.
