Normal TSH level with regular medicines is suggestive of good control and not cure. Continue medicines and there is no need to do TSH testing every month.Do it after two months.

Hello, Please understand hypothyroidism is a hormone (thyroxine, produced by thyroid) deficiency disorder. Since this hormone is required for multiple vital functions in the body and for normal functioning of brain, it needs to be supplemented every day because your gland is not producing adequate or nil. Since you are taking the drug regularly, the reports keep coming normal. That does not mean that hypothyroidism is cured. The moment you stop treatment, tsh level will go up, plus all the symptoms will reappear. Treatment is for lifetime. Thanks.
