Hi I was prescribed by my dermatologist to take 1000 iu's of vitamin a everyday for 2 weeks (2 x 25,000 iu vit a capsules for morning and evening). Will it cure my acne? And is not it bad for my body? Considering its above the recommended dosage amount but only taken at short term (2 weeks)?

The vitamin a is widely used for acne and there is no proof of it curing acne for anyone. It should only be taken for such a short time being the highest dose.
