Dear sir, I am 64, male, wt. 68 kg, diabetic since 15 yrs. Medication: glycomet-sr 500 mg. 1 in morning before breakfast. Glycomet-gp1 at night before dinner. 1 tab of 500 mg. Today undergone blood tests. Fbs- 137.7, ppbs- 78.8 and h1ab1c. 9.84. Today due to some reasons ppbs tested after 2 hours 15 minutes after breakfast. Is it the reason for lower reading than fbs. Due to over confidence I used liberally mango and sweet dishes. Now I realized the importance of diabetic diet and implications. Pl inform and guide me why ppbs shown less and also is it necessary to change medicines. I also use cilaheart-t for bp. My bp reading 130/80.

Bp is controlled, continue same medicine. Follow universal rule and stick to diabetic diet. Do not consume sweets and mangoes. Exercise regularly for one month then get fasting and pp blood sugar properly and see the result.
