Hello, Thanks for the query. Any liquid saying "syrup" contains considerable amount of sugar, hence taking such liquids is bound to increase glucose intake. The information given is very little. There is just mention of one value (117 mg), no mention whether it is fasting, random or otherwise. No mention of PP value and HbA1c%, drugs being taken, weight, height, extent of exercise and dietary pattern,. So can not comment at all. Thanks.
