I my sister in law ,s thyroid came 0.65 she is taking 150 mcg of thyronorm .can anyone tell me how much she should take.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Usually when adequate levothyroxine is taken, TSH is maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L. At that level all the symptoms are in check. TSH 0.65 mU/L is still within the normal range (0.5 mU/L to 5.5 mU/L) If the level of TSH further goes down, then there may be a need to reduce the dosage. Please also inform T3 & T4 levels. Thanks

Continue same dose and repeat tsh after 6 weeks.

She can continue to take 150 mcg from monday to saturday, reduce the dose to 100 mcg on sunday. Repeat s.tsh after 4 weeks.
